What you can expect as a part of the selection process

Take on a leadership role at an Aviate-participating Part 135 operator

Aviate participants can transition directly to United as a First Officer after completing 2,000 flight hours with an Aviate-participating Part 135 operator and serving, at that partner, in one of the following leadership positions for at least 24 months:

Chief Pilot, Director of Operations, Director of Safety, or Fleet (Training/Technical/Standards) Captain
Line Captain – available only to pilots at JSX. The position of Line Captain is not eligible for a direct-to-United transition at other Part 135 partners.
