Notice regarding our accreditation status

This written notice is being provided in accordance with applicable Standards of Accreditation from UAA’s Accreditor, the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (“ACCSC”), to inform UAA’s learning community that as of November 8, 2024, the institution has been placed on probationary status following the Commission’s August 2024 meeting. This probation indicates that we must address specific compliance issues to meet ACCSC’s accreditation standards that were identified by the Commission during its review of UAA.

The Commission’s review encompassed, in part, compliance with accrediting standards relative to advertising, enrollment, the institution’s refund policy, financial reporting obligations to the Commission, including audited financial statements, management and administrative capacity, and student satisfaction. During this period of probation, UAA will be working to improve the areas identified by the Commission to ensure UAA is in full compliance with ACCSC standards.

Note that UAA’s accreditation status remains active while we work to resolve these issues. ACCSC will review our progress in the areas identified by the Commission during its February 2025 review meeting. More information about ACCSC’s action can be obtained from the Commission’s website, available here: https://www.accsc.org/actions-and-announcements/probation/

We understand that you may have questions or concerns about this status; however, be assured that UAA remains committed to providing all of its students with a quality education and ensuring full compliance with ACCSC standards.

If you would like to learn more or discuss any specific concerns, we encourage you to contact Ray Vester at Ray.Vester@aviateacademy.com.
